The above link directs you to the FBLA reference guide which categorized events by type and give study material. When you begin to prepare for your event, go to this site.

DHS FBLA members are required to compete in an event if they plan to attend the District V or State Leadership conferences. Students are encouraged to choose an event in early fall semester. This will ensure they have enough time to study, plan, and prepare their event materials. If you need help deciding which event to participate in, use the flow chart below:
